Between You & Me is here to pick you up from your mid-week slump with their new track, “In The Middle.” The single is set to appear on their forthcoming EP SH!T YEAH, featuring “YEAH!” The EP is due out on April 5 and is fully independent. Be sure to grab your SH!T YEAH merch, too.

The Australian pop-punk quintet fused bright, upbeat guitar melodies and groovy basslines into their heartbreak tune that must be danced to. “Feel my heart breaking a little, thinking that I’m not enough/So call it off, tell me it won’t last/There’s never been a time that we wouldn’t run back to get lost in the middle/To get caught in the middle with you,” the chorus says. In the official “In The Middle” music video, the bandmates have fun experimenting with colored backgrounds, filters, and props. One member even rocks their birthday suit for the shoot. Check out the full video below.

The band is coming to North America to perform on their debut U.S. headline beginning in March. “We realized that the only way we could tour the U.S. again was going to be our own headliner, and we needed to throw ourselves in the deep end,” they shared during their tour announcement.

“Unfortunately, we underestimated how difficult it was to book a headline tour. Planning all the cities we wanted to visit, getting the venues we wanted to play in, finding the right supports…it all takes a lot of time, but we are super proud of what we have put together. The rooms are scarily big, so please make sure all your friends come and experience a Between You & Me show.”
