2024 is destined to belong to LØLØ. After announcing her debut studio album falling for robots and wishing i was one, which will arrive on June 7 via Hopeless Records, she has also dropped her new single, “u & the tin man.”

“When I moved to LA, I realized I was definitely not in Kansas anymore,” LØLØ shares of her new single. “I eventually met someone who hit me like a tornado, and left just as viciously. The Wizard Of Oz has always been my favorite movie growing up, so I thought it would be fun to compare my situation to someone who really didn’t have a heart, like the tin man. Except, at least the tin man was trying! This is one of the first songs in a while that I wrote completely by myself, so it feels very special. This is also the first song I ever wrote for my debut album and I’m VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT!!”

Across her latest offering, LØLØ draws a parallel between a past love and the Tin Man from The Wizard Of Oz: “Cold on the outside/And hollow inside/For someone who ain’t got one/You sure do break mine.” Serving as the closing track to her forthcoming full-length, which will also feature previously released singles “omg,” “faceplant,” “2 of us,” “hot girls in hell,” “*snow in berlin*,” and “poser,” “u & the tin man” captures the central theme of the 15-track collection while unearthing the raw humanity and vulnerability of LØLØ herself. Take a listen to “u & the tin man” below.

LØLØ will be hitting the road as support for jxdn this summer for the When The Music Stops Tour. You can check out her full touring schedule below and grab tickets here.
