Celebrating the release of his highly anticipated full-length album, Love In Stereo, which arrived via Warner Records earlier this year, MAX graced the idobi Radio studios in North Hollywood, CA, for two captivating live performances. For his first performance, he delivered a stripped-down rendition of the viral sensation “STUPID IN LOVE,” igniting the studio with his electrifying energy.

“‘STUPID IN LOVE’ is one of the most special songs to me,” MAX shares in a press release. “It’s based off of my own love story with my wife, who I got engaged to four months after we started dating and were married five months later. Then recently when I visited Korea, I met Yunjin and saw her perform and was so blown away. I sent Yunjin the song and she delivered such a beautiful verse and really completed the song as a whole. I’m so grateful and excited to have her on this track with me”

The track first emerged in collaboration with HUH YUNJIN of the K-Pop girl group, LE SSERAFIM. With its initial release in February, the song swiftly captured widespread acclaim and attention on TikTok and various streaming platforms. Similarly to the studio release of the track, MAX’s live performance hears his exceptional vocal range soar, filling the studio space with echoes of the track’s infectious chorus: “So stupid in love with you (stupid in love, I’m so stupid in love)/I’m so stupid in love.”

MAX will be performing in Mexico beginning at the end of this week, on Friday, May 3. The four special dates will wrap following this weekend on Tuesday, May 7. Tickets can be purchased here.

Performance Dates:

  • May 3—Mexico City, Mexico @ Arena CDMX
  • May 4—Mexico City, Mexico @ Arena CDMX
