“‘Be Somebody’ is about being in your mid 20’s and still feeling like you don’t know what you’re doing. Nowadays there’s a constant pressure for people to have their shit figured out or at least appear like they do. So many times I’ve found myself comparing my life to other peoples lives and in turn feeling bad about and overthinking my own. I think a lot of people fall into that feeling because it’s hard not to, when really it doesn’t matter. Other people’s lives and paths don’t matter to you and yours. That’s what I’m slowly learning and reminding myself. In the end we’re all just trying to figure out how to be human and no one actually knows what they’re doing. – Phil Good

Who: You know him from I the Mighty, now watch Brent Walsh slip into something softer.

What: There’s a lot of heart-tugging punch in the sweet sounds of “Cloud’s Song”.

Why: The quiet melody of “Cloud’s Song” is emotional and it helps you break into your own feelings too.

“‘Cloud’s Song’ was inspired partially from personal experience and partially from something a fan had written to me a long time ago. It’s for anyone who has felt the absence of a parent, for anyone who has ever looked up at the sky and questioned their place in the universe, and for those of us who continue to question.” – Brent Walsh
